Outside
The Lighthouse Retreat Center is 20 minutes south of Ithaca, NY on 60 acres of land and surrounded by nature. The distance and elevations separates us from noise and light pollution – stars pepper the night sky and the sound of your breath can echo in the rooms.
Bordering a state park means wildlife is abundant, but you’ll be free to roam the trails that weave throughout the surrounding forest on the property. Explorers will find a creek and two ponds.
We’ll spend as much of our time in nature as possible to renew the connection to earth and nature.
Inside
Built in the 1970’s, The Lighthouse has that retreat center vibe and it’s homey-ness creates many opportunities to bond in the shared spaces. The workshop and integration rooms convert to sleeping quarters at night, but the whole center includes a:
- Solarium
- Finished Attic with Bathroom & Shower
- Workshop Room w/ Wood Stove
- Full Kitchen and Reading Nooks
- Living Room with Wood Stove
- Outdoors Deck & Basement
With a large refrigerator, full kitchen, and plenty of floor seating, you’ll also have access to share:
- 3 standing showers & a jacuzzi
- Washer & Dryer
- Spring fed water system
- Outdoor Garden
- Exercise equipment
When you’ve arrived and settled, the healing energy of the space will take over. It’s the perfect respite from busy city life, but is also great for focusing attention on the matter at hand. We’ll handle all the details, just bring yourself and an open mind.
Getting Here
Home to Cornell University, Ithaca is a transportation hub with many convenient travel options.
Buses connect Ithaca to NYC and many surrounding areas for a low-cost, reliable transportation option. We’ll pick you up and drop you off at the Ithaca station.
Alternatively, the Lighthouse is approximately 3.5 hours from NYC by car and parking is available. Please inquire for a private bus, we’ll arrange it for your team at passthrough cost with nothing additional on top.
